Human Body

The Human Body mainly consists of Tridosha, on the basis of which a physical body is classified. The Tridoshas are Vata, Pitta, and Kapha, which analyze the state of the body. This, in turn, is correlated with age, diet, and to some extent genetics. Finding a balance in these doshas within the body is the perfect way to achieve a healthy body and mind. The Manas is classified into the Trigunas: Satvaguna, Rajoguna, and Tamoguna; the predominance of which categorizes each individual as Satvika, Rajasika, or Tamasika.

Hatha Prayoga

At Hatha Prayoga we treat any given disorder based on the Tridosha Theory, Pancakosha Theory, and Sadvimshathi (Sankhya) Theory. By analyzing the needs of the individual and their current state of health, a customized module is implemented, and the parameters that need correction are followed. Each body is different and requires its own set of yogic practices which include Kriya (cleansing techniques), Asanas, Pranayama, and relaxation. Diet plans are programmed according to the “Sadrasa Concept,” and in some cases “Chaandraayana – The Lunar Fasting” is administered based on the needs of an individual. Individual consultation and counseling are also carried out to get the best out of the Yogic practices.
